Through Another’s Eyes: A Friend’s Take on My Neighborhood

Through Another’s Eyes: A Friend’s Take on My Neighborhood Hello, my name is Michelle and today, Friday, September 22, I embarked on an exploration of my friend's neighborhood. During my walk, I was struck by the unique front gardens adorning almost all the houses. Particularly memorable were the homes on Rowntree Ave and Prescott Ave, one of which showcased a stunning array of sunflowers. Our route led us past the General Mercer Junior Public School, a local landmark where we rested and enjoyed the atmosphere. We also visited ‘Lucky Star Flower,’ a shop that he frequently goes to. We then started to walk into Earlscourt Park, a popular local spot that houses the Joseph J. Piccininni Community Centre. Strolling Through the Heart of Weston-Pelham Park Hello, my name is Francisco and I reside in a lively neighborhood of Weston-Pelham Park. Today, I'll be embarking on a walk around my neighborhood with a friend, who will also be reviewing the area and sharing his opinions on a blog. As we stroll through the neighborhood, the standout building is the General Mercer Junior Public School, which also has the General Mercer wading pool. Adjacent to it is a recreation center in Earlscourt Park, known as the Joseph J. Piccininni Community Centre. Earlscourt Park is a popular gathering spot due to its massive space. Our walk also takes us past several small businesses that add charm to the area. One of my personal favorites is Lucky Star Flowers, a flower store I frequently visit. The neighborhood also boasts a barber shop and a few convenience stores, making it a lively area to live in.
