Through Another’s Eyes: A Friend’s Take on My Neighborhood Hello, my name is Michelle and today, Friday, September 22, I embarked on an exploration of my friend's neighborhood. During my walk, I was struck by the unique front gardens adorning almost all the houses. Particularly memorable were the homes on Rowntree Ave and Prescott Ave, one of which showcased a stunning array of sunflowers. Our route led us past the General Mercer Junior Public School, a local landmark where we rested and enjoyed the atmosphere. We also visited ‘Lucky Star Flower,’ a shop that he frequently goes to. We then started to walk into Earlscourt Park, a popular local spot that houses the Joseph J. Piccininni Community Centre. Here, my friend introduced me to his favorite sport, badminton, and we joined the many skilled players for a game. After an enjoyable match, it was time to head home.
